What’s a Wiki? A wiki allows users to collaboratively create, edit, link, and organize one or more web pages, or even the content of an entire website, usually for reference material. [Think Wikipedia.] Wikis are often used to power community websites and projects that groups of people undertake — allowing various members of the team or group to collaborate on a joint document or presentation!
There are MANY types of wikis on the web. Google Docs — that resembles an Internet-based version of Microsoft Word — has been described as a “page-at-a-time wiki” and is one type.
